Return & Refund Policy

We want you to shop with confidence. This policy explains when Kapeesh Ayurved orders can be returned, how refunds and replacements work, and the steps to raise a claim — keeping in mind the consumable nature of our wellness products.

This Return & Refund Policy explains the terms under which Kapeesh Ayurved (“Kapeesh Ayurved,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) accepts returns and processes refunds for purchases made through our website. It applies to all orders placed on our website and should be read together with our Terms & Conditions and Shipping Policy.

Because we sell consumable Ayurvedic and herbal products, returns are limited for hygiene, safety, and product-integrity reasons, as described below.

Eligibility for Returns

We accept return or replacement requests only in the following cases, where the issue is reported within the applicable timeframe and supported by valid proof:

  • You received a damaged product.
  • You received a defective product.
  • The wrong item was delivered.
  • An item was missing from your order.
  • The product was expired on delivery.
  • The packaging was leaking or tampered with on delivery.

Non-Returnable Items

For the safety of all customers, the following are generally not eligible for return or refund:

  • Products whose seal has been opened.
  • Products that have been used or partially consumed.
  • Products damaged after delivery due to mishandling.
  • Requests raised after the allowed return timeframe.
  • Products returned without their original packaging, labels, or invoice.

Return Request Timeframe

  • Return or replacement requests must be raised within 48 hours of delivery for damaged, tampered, missing, or incorrect items.
  • Requests raised after this timeframe may not be eligible for return, refund, or replacement.
  • Supporting proof (see below) may be required for us to review and process your request.

Required Proof for Claims

To verify and process a claim, please share the following where applicable:

  • Clear photographs of the product and the issue.
  • An unboxing video (strongly recommended, and often required for missing or damaged-item claims).
  • Photographs of the outer packaging and shipping label.
  • Your order number and invoice details.

Return Approval Process

Once you raise a request with the required proof, our team will review and verify the claim. We may request additional information or, where relevant, the return of the product for inspection. We reserve the right to approve or reject any claim based on the outcome of this verification. You will be notified of the decision via email or other contact details on file.

Refund Process

  • Approved refunds are processed to your original payment method for prepaid orders.
  • For Cash on Delivery (COD) orders, refunds are processed to a bank account or UPI ID provided by you, after verification.
  • Once approved, refunds are typically initiated within 5–7 business days. The time for the amount to reflect in your account depends on your bank or payment provider.

Replacement Policy

Where a product is found to be damaged, defective, expired, or incorrect, we may offer a replacement of the same product instead of a refund, subject to stock availability. If a replacement is not available, we will process a refund as per this policy. Replacements are dispatched after the original claim has been verified and approved.

Cancellation Policy

  • Orders can be cancelled only before they have been dispatched. Please contact us as soon as possible if you wish to cancel.
  • Once an order has been shipped, it can no longer be cancelled and will be subject to the return and refund terms set out in this policy.
  • Where a pre-dispatch cancellation is approved for a prepaid order, the amount paid will be refunded to the original payment method.

Failed Delivery or Refused Orders

If a delivery fails after multiple attempts, or if you refuse to accept a validly dispatched order without an eligible reason, the shipment may be returned to us. In such cases, any applicable shipping and return handling charges may be deducted from the refund amount. Refunds for such orders, where due, will be processed once the returned shipment has been received and verified.

Incorrect Shipping Information

You are responsible for providing accurate and complete shipping information, including address, pin code, and contact number. We are not liable for non-delivery, delays, or losses arising from incorrect or incomplete details. If a package is returned to us due to incorrect information, re-shipping charges may apply, or a refund may be processed after deducting applicable charges.

Shipping Charges and Refundability

  • Where a refund is approved due to our error — such as a damaged, defective, expired, or incorrect item — any shipping charges paid for that order are refundable.
  • For cancellations or returns that are not due to our error, original shipping charges are generally non-refundable, and return shipping costs (where applicable) may be borne by the customer.

Abuse or Fraudulent Claims

We reserve the right to reject any return, refund, or replacement request that we reasonably believe to be false, exaggerated, fraudulent, or made in bad faith. Repeated or abusive claims may result in restrictions on future orders or account suspension, in line with our Terms & Conditions.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, our total liability in connection with any order is limited to the value of the products purchased in that order. We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from the purchase or use of our products. Nothing in this policy excludes or limits any rights you may have under applicable Indian consumer protection law.
